Text Box: Rockwall Music Teachers is pleased to offer a SENIOR SCHOLARSHIP to a deserving student of any RMTA teacher member Michele McDonald, Chairperson Entry Deadline: May 21, 2012 ELIGIBILITY: Student must be classified as a senior at the beginning of school year in which he or she is competing. The entrant’s teacher must have been an active member of RMTA for two years. Entrants must prepare a memorized program to be presented before a judge on a pre-arranged audition date. In the event there are two or less applicants, the judge’s panel may elect to award a scholarship without audition to each student, if the students have already been accepted as a music major or minor in an accredited college or university. The winner must be accepted in an institution of higher learning with the intent to major or minor in music. Contact chairperson prior to deadline for program requirements. Scholarship recipients will be announced following the final RMTA meeting of the season. RMTA reserves the right to withhold this award should the committee not find a qualified recipient.
