Text Box: About Rockwall Music Teachers Text Box: The Rockwall Music Teachers Association mission is to promote high standards of music education and performance, to stimulate self-improvement within the membership and to encourage musical activities which contribute to cultural growth in the community. We are affiliated with and support the objectives of the Texas Music Teachers Association (TMTA) and the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA). We hold meetings approximately four times per year just prior to our scheduled events. Meetings are held on Friday afternoon at 4:30, so that our school teachers may attend. Meetings are held in members homes and yearly dues are $20. Our membership consists of teachers with considerable experience in teaching and performing as well as those who have just begun to establish their class. We believe that by working together our members will continue to make the Rockwall Music Teachers Association a strong and respected organization.
